Last October we landed on one of the most perfect evenings to shoot Britta & Matt’s engagement session, and it was oh so much fun! As you can see, Britta and Matt are a gorgeous pair who fall together seamlessly both photographically and in personality. They are at home in the great outdoors, so we wanted to spend the bulk of the session in more of a rustic, quiet habitat but not completely leave out a taste of the city. We began in downtown Stillwater and found some prime red vines and also enjoyed personal, favorite spots. From there, we took a stroll down at the St. Croix River Boom Site before heading up river to William O’Brien State Park to conclude our wonderful, autumn photography session.
I enjoyed every moment of creating this custom, storybook engagement album for Britta & matt! I was glad they were able to assist with image narrowing since we had hundreds of images to choose from. The making of an album is a process with input from both sides. The end result is a treasured heirloom which is sure to span generations to come. The seamless spreads are mounted, coated and textured. This album’s texture is linen. I’ve added a few images of the actual sample album, so you can get an idea of what it looks like in person… though I promise you, you’d love it even more first hand! I’m becoming addicted to these! It’s hard to know how many years you may keep a print on a wall and what to do with it after, but an album is a bit easier to hold on to and showcases more images. Many couples choose to display their album face out on a shelf or on a private coffee table, so it’s always on display. These are great gift for the parents as well! Enjoy!
